The food menu has got all sorts of exciting additions for game season, including Roast Venison, Roast Mallard and Whole Grouse or Partridge. Each month we also use long forgotten recipes to recreate a dish from Britain’s past. This month we’re following a traditional Cornish recipe dating back to 1775, using chicken, leeks and thyme – the Charter Pie.

Everyone’s favourite things! One of our owners, Will Beckett, and his mother Fiona (Britains leading wine and food matching expert - www.matchingfoodandwine.com) have got together to write a book on beer and food matching.
